Works to reduce the impact of violence by providing support, criminal justice advocacy and education to survivors of domestic violence and victims of other violent crime. IMPACT Chicago offers experience-based self-defense and educational programs directed primarily to women in Chicago and the Great Lakes region. The programs provide women with an opportunity to learn and practice prevention, assessment, verbal boundary setting, and physical self-defense skills.
