Welcome to the Teacher Wish List!
This program is for teachers located at schools in the 7th state senate district, including areas of Rogers Park, Uptown, Edgewater, and Lincoln Square.

Donation Instructions
Teachers spend, on average, $500 of their own money to fund such items as classroom decorations, office supplies, and other classroom needs. State Representative Harry Osterman, Alderman Mary Ann Smith and State Senator Heather Steans are kicking off a Teacher Supply Drive at www.senatorsteans.com/teacherwishlist.
Items on the list currently include supplies such as pencils, pens, dry erase markers, and copier paper and also larger items like laptop computers, printers, bookcases, board games, and more. Please consider donating your new or gently used supplies to your local school.
The teacher wish list works just like a gift registry. Choose an item that you would like to donate and e-mail that line to jen@heathersteans.com. Within one business day, we’ll send you instructions on where to drop the item off and remove the item from the wishlist, if applicable.
